Beginning of mathematics took place in 6th century around 300 BC . Euclid introduced axiomatic method still used in maths today consisting of theorem, proof,axiom.
In 1200 BC, Indian mathematics emerged in Indian subcontinent till 18th century. Ancient and medieval Indian mathematics works all composed in sanskrit,usually consisted sutras.
